This video explores how to fully tailor Responsum to your organization by customizing modules, fields, and sections. By selecting "Customize submodule" within any module, you enter an interactive editor where you can modify existing elements or create new ones. You can rename labels, add translations, provide "More Info" tooltips, and even designate specific fields as Expert Mode to keep the interface clean for general users. For "Processing Activities," you also have the unique ability to decide which fields should impact the overall progress bar calculation.
When adding new Simple Fields, the tool supports a wide range of data types, including text, numbers, dates, file uploads, and specific "Period" fields for retention. For more complex data needs, Relation Fields allow you to connect different modules—such as linking an activity to an advisory note—using dropdowns, checkboxes, or card views. You can define these relationships as one-to-one or one-to-many, ensuring data flows correctly across the platform.
Finally, the video covers organization and layout. You can easily drag and drop fields to reorder them, create entirely new sections for custom data, or hide sections that aren't relevant to your workflow. If you ever need to start over, the tool includes a "Reset to standard" option to restore the default setup.
